Pager Explosions in Lebanon: What We Know

On Tuesday, September 17th, thousands of pagers containing small amounts of explosives detonated at around 3:30 pm in Lebanon. Members of Hezbollah, an armed Lebanese group, were carrying these pagers as a means of communication. Upon explosion, thousands of pedestrians were subject to either severe injury or death throughout various shops, streets, homes, and cars.
