$300 million worth of homes have been evacuated in the central Colorado mountains. On October 29th, a house was destroyed by a human-caused fire and 700 houses were evacuated. Officials from the Teller County Sheriff's Office reported they were looking into criminal charges for the human caused fire. Luckily, there were no reported deaths. At this time of the year, winds have become severe which contributes to the spread of the fires and makes it extremely difficult for firefighters to contain. On the other hand, the dry conditions fuel wildfires.
