Can Anyone Stop the Baltimore Ravens’ Offense?

Owen Katz

The 4-5 Cincinnati Bengals entered week ten desperately in need of a victory following a forty-one to twenty-four rampage of the Las Vegas Raiders in a game where star receiver Ja’Marr Chase tallied a mere forty-three yards. Chase would rack up over six times that amount, having one of the greatest wide receiver games ever. Joe Burrow threw two of his four touchdowns to Chase, who had over two hundred and sixty yards on eleven receptions. The potent Cincinnati offense scored thirty-four points, with two career games from Chase and All-Pro quarterback Joe Burrow. However, the Bengals exited the game 4-6. The victories: the Baltimore Ravens. Standing at 7-3, Baltimore has ousted nearly every team they have played, scoring a league-high 318 total points, which puts them in an absolute league of their own. This is thanks to two MVP-contending players. Future hall-of-famer running back Derrick Henry has put up over 1100 yards in 10 games, putting him on pace for the third most rushing yards in a season in NFL history. Along with that, he has 14 touchdowns. These numbers rival and even surpass the last MVP RB Adrian Peterson’s stats from 2012.
